From my testing the camcorder is fully functional. I also always take time to make sure everything is packed with care. Records to and plays back from tapes properly, tape transport mechanism is fully functional, all buttons work, screen works, EVF microphone zoom etc. Includes battery but no charger.

Cosmetically the camera is in user condition showing heavier signs of wear and use throughout. Lens on the camera is clean and defect free.
