This camcorder records in color, but the playback is black and white only when reviewed viewfinder. It comes with a nice hard case that does not have the key. The viewfinder looks nice with just light dust trapped inside. You can use that info to search buying replacement batteries or by the model number GE Camcorder CG650 for battery.

There is no flip out screen to review playback. This listing DOES NOT INCLUDE: a battery, VHS tapes It uses standard size tapes, the mic cover it disintegrated and had to be tossed, new one can bought put on, AV cables, or output adapter. It was stored temperature controlled. The case is unlocked. Ejects tapes with ease. The front lens looks very good with only minor wear to the coating, no scratches or scuffs.

It comes with the battery charger which has a cord that attaches to camera use when plugged into wall. Recording and play back fully working. This vintage of camera you review the playback through viewfinder. It looks hardly used.

The body of the camera looks great. This is what I used to test the camcorder. If it accidentally becomes locked you can pop back open with a simple clothes hanger.
