Overall I found this camera very intuitive and easy to use, without having refer the instructions. Bottom is tapped threaded for use on a tripod. On connecting to a Windows 10 PC, software stored on the camera ARC Soft Media Impression for Kodak auto-installed, and facilitated file transfer. Note: This camera kit originally included two 2 Kodak AA rechargeable batteries plus a charger but those are missing from this.

SD card slot in the camera for expanded storage capacity Note: As seen photos, rubber cover over has become detached. Contains: camera, wrist strap, extra battery cover, HDMI cable for playback on an HDTV, AV a standard TV, USB transfer of files to PC. No CD to run. Box states the camera is compatible with Mac but I haven't tested that as don't have a available.

Add an SD card and batteries, power it on set a few things using the on-screen menu, start filming. The cover will remain in place when covering the slot but user should take care to prevent it being misplaced or lost. User is free to decline and instead use his own choice of file management software. Requires two 2 AA batteries not included.
